Under the Tuscan Sun

Buon giorno! We’re back.

I love Italy. Love it so much. From when I studied abroad there the summer before my Junior year in college, I loved Italy. The food, the history, the people, the sights, the language. Mi piace.

In my time in Italy, I had never been to Florence. It is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. There is something about walking around in an old European country that gives you the feeling that you are walking in the same place, on the same day, as people have done every year for thousands and thousands of years. The history in Italy is just steeped so deep. And on top of that, there is art everywhere. Look up, or down – it is on the walls, on the floors, on the ceilings. All around.

In the next few weeks, I cannot wait to share with you the pics from our trip and the things that I loved doing and seeing in Italy. From cooking at our home with a chef to seeing (all of) the sites to driving to little villages outside of Florence (and driving in general) – I hope you’ll enjoy!

Until then, here is a small sampler of some pics from the trip!
