My Favorite Spring Things!

My-Favorite-Spring-Things
Spring is upon us whether it feels like it or not – I don’t know about you, but I spent the first day of spring in a snow covered New York City, wishing it was 60 and sunny instead of trudging through the snow in my duck boots.

I am sharing this post of my favorite spring things as part of a linkup with The Blogger Collective. If you want to see what other bloggers are excited about this spring, check out the links at the bottom of this post!

Now that spring is finally here, I feel like I can allow myself to daydream about the things that make me so happy about this time of year. Once the daylight savings starts, I feel like everything is new again. The hour of daylight in the evening is so important!

Below are the things that spring brings that I am looking forward to, lusting over, or am just plain excited about! Here’s hoping the weather follows suit!

Jack Rogers

Jack Rogers
If this pic isn’t enough proof that I have issues with too many Jacks, I don’t know what is. I am so excited for it to finally be warm enough to wear flip flops! I am pretty sure I don’t need a new pair, but heck, if the right colors appear, I cannot be held accountable.

A T-Shirt Refresh

I recently took inventory and realized I had a ton of t-shirts I wasn’t wearing or just plain didn’t like. I have been feeling like this a lot recently about my whole wardrobe, so I decided to start small and with the most versatile pieces in the closet. This past weekend in NYC, I went to Aritzia and I am pretty sure I tried on every single plain T in their entire store. End of story – I found a few shirts I am really excited about and bought in multiple colors. So happy!

Wedding Season

My Favorite Spring Things-3
I love to hate wedding season. This year we have eight weddings, and while I fear I will never spend a weekend at home, I am so so SO excited to share in the union of some of our closest friends. It is often hard to remember how special weddings are when you are in “this age,” but this year, I am trying to focus on just that. And next wedding season, ours will be on the agenda!

Farmers Markets

Honestly, this is the single best thing about good weather, an excuse to get up early (earlier than usual) walk around the capital and sample some of the delicious treats available at the Madison Farmers Market. Last year I made this handy farmers market bag, and I cannot wait to put it to more use.

  5. You are so right about farmers markets! There is something so amazing about being able to get up, get out, and grab some fresh/local produce, buds and blooms, and come home all before the neighborhood wakes up!

Thanks for being a part of the Blogger Collective Linkup! Nice to meet you!

  7. 8 weddings sounds fun, expensive, and slightly awful! I hope my friends space it out a little more! And that’s one amazing shoe collection :)
