OMG Did You Get A Haircut?

You might have noticed on Friday, but The Not Quite Adult got a makeover! Eeek! This has been in the works for the last 2-3 months, and I am so excited to finally have it live!

There are a few more things I want to do (static home page, update the other pages aside from the Blog Page) but I am happy that the design fits better with the brand I imagine for the site.

I did all of the design and coding myself, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the Code Create Now class I took from Lisa Butler of Elembee. I learned everything I wanted to learn from the class and looking at what she has developed with all of my favorite blogs such as The Stripe, Victoria McGinley, Corals and Cognacs, and Hitha on the Go is so inspiring. Thank you for putting the class together Lisa, it has been an invaluable resource.

I hope you like the redesign, and please feel free to let me know what you think by commenting or sending me an email!

Thanks for following along with The Not Quite Adult! I’m thinking this is going to be an exciting year!

  3. Your site looks amazing! (Although I have to admit that I hadn’t seen it before, so I can’t compare it to the previous design, but this looks awesome regardless!) I just made the switch from Blogger to WordPress myself and I have all these visions for what I would like it to look like, but not necessarily the skills to make it happen. I’m hoping to do some sort of tutorial or class to learn a little more to make it “prettier,” but at the moment I’m going to just try to enjoy that I have my own domain name now!

  5. […] So far, I have learned how to use WordPress, use my DSLR, sew, play with Adobe Illustrator, and redesign my blog. I have mentioned some of those classes in the context of some projects but thought I would round […]
