This fall has been the longest, most beautiful, and most necessary in recent years. After last year’s painfully brutal winter and the fleetingly short summer, it feels like a blessing that this season has been so gorgeous, mild, and colorful. The drive out to Minneapolis this weekend was absolutely stunning, making the usually long green drive, the envy of leaf peepers everywhere. While it doesn’t make the impending burden of winter any easier to swallow, these colors are certainly making the transition prettier.
